Our Technical Director, Andy O’Dea, has recently been awarded a new post nomial to add to those currently after his name, but this one more dear to Andy than most. Having been a ‘graduate member’ of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) for almost 30 years, the Institution has recently recognised him as an Associate Member. Although a civil engineer by education and training, Andy’s career and focus over the years became more closely aligned with the environmental aspects of our work and hence he pursued CEnv and MIEnvSc ahead of CEng and MICE. However, because of his engineering background and continued involvement in aspects of civil and geotechnical engineering, he was keen to continue his connection the Institution. This recent award of AMICE is a welcomed and appreciated recognition of his affiliation with the ICE and keen interest in all things engineering-related.
If you would like to contact Andy (MSc BAI BA DIC CEnv MIEnvSc FGS AMICE QP(DoWCoP)) to discuss any aspect of the works we do, both environmental and engineering related, please do so on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07833 873 065.
