Sunday Race 1, P3

I managed to get a good start in race 1 and capitalised on contact from 2 cars in front to move from 5th into 3rd. A solid race saw us then finish 3rd, grabbing our first podium of the year!

Sunday Race 2, P2

After ball number 4 was drawn, we were then placed 2nd on the grid for the afternoon race. We made a good start and into Paddock, had a look at making a move for the lead, but just wasn’t quite close enough so slotted in behind. During the first part of the race the gaps from 1st to 4th stayed consistent until the safety car came out, catching a car behind me out and he passed me under safety car conditions and didn’t give the place back so resulted in a post race penalty for that car so moved me back up to second. A great bag of points after a disappointing Donington Park two weeks ago!

Next up is Thruxton, a fast track and challenge in a 911 cup. We went well there last year, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there and giving it the best we’ve got!
