Cognition Land and Water has been approved as a Member Organisation of the Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS)

We are delighted to announce that Cognition Land and Water has been approved as a Member Organisation of the Association of Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS).  We are proud to have had our application approved and see this as an important recognition of our standing in the industry by one our leading professional organisations.  The AGS was established to improve the profile and quality of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering - its primary aim is to promote and enhance the quality of professional practice across our industry.

Andy O’Dea, Technical Director at Cognition Land & Water, has been involved with The Contaminated Land Working Group of the AGS for many years.  As Technical Director at Cognition, one of Andy’s key roles is to promote and encourage technical excellence in everything we do.  “Cognition Land and Water is one of the leading contamination remediation contractors in the UK”, Andy said, “and closer association with organisations such as the AGS is critical to the promotion of best practice at Cognition and across our industry.  I am looking forward to again being actively involved in the work of the AGS and particularly the Contaminated Land Working Group, which has done such great work in promoting best practice in contaminated land assessment and remediation over many years.”
