Cognition Land and Water is currently carrying out demolition, enabling works and contamination remediation at the former Pirbright Institute in Compton, Berkshire to prepare the site for residential redevelopment.
Our client, Homes England, carried out a CDM compliance audit in late February and with a score of 99.32%, Cognition is pleased to have passed with flying colours. From welfare facilities to project design requirements, from site signage to incident reporting, Cognition were shown to be fully compliant with all CDM practice standards and requirements. Only a minor date error on a single key document prevented us from getting a 100% score.
This incredibly high score is a credit to the whole project team, working on-site and off, and demonstrates their commitment to a culture of health and safety, ensuring impeccable standards are maintained, not only on this project but across all of our works. Well done to all the Cognition team.
