Hogarth, Chiswick

8 January 2016

Cognition was contracted to remediate a former industrial site in Hogarth, Chiswick. The site was to be redeveloped for residential housing with a large basement. The remediation works involved soil excavation, segregation, pre-treatment and testing prior to disposal. A total of 55,000 m3 was excavated and disposed of within 16 weeks in a very busy area of London. With large numbers of vehicles (up to 120) entering and leaving the site each day, efficient traffic management controls were in place. The remediation works and disposal operations were competently managed to allow other trades to continue working unhindered.
