Cognition recently participated in the Fairview Charity Football Tournament to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. Noah’s Ark help babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and their families, make the most of every day & support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family.
Tournament report from the Captain:
'With a notable performance in the group stage, winning three out of four games, we continued on our charity football journey with a strong sense of determination and cohesion. The players showcased their exceptional skills, leading to an impressive performance in the group stage. Unfortunately the journey came to end for the boys, in a thrilling semi-final clash that ended in a penalty shootout, leaving us narrowly missing out on a place in the finals. The team's outstanding performance and dedication in the tournament, was led by the following: Myself (Albert Brahilika), Tony Brahilika, Alvaro Brahilika, Andi Brahilika, Mark Hosking, Daniel Shkurti, and Erik Brahilika. Although the journey ended in a penalty shootout defeat, the Cognition team displayed sportsmanship, teamwork, and a sense of solidarity that will be remembered long after the final whistle.
This event not only united the employees but also raised significant funds for a noble cause, leaving a positive impact on the community and reinforcing Cognition's commitment to making a difference beyond. We will be sure to make you guys proud and bring it home next time!'
