We are delighted to announce that Cognition Land and Water Limited will be funding and be on the Project Steering Group for a new CIRIA research project on 'Odour management in brownfield projects P3291'.
Odour can be a highly emotive issue and a significant nuisance factor on many construction sites, particularly where contaminated land remediation is involved. The aim of the project is to provide guidance to assist contaminated land and construction professionals involved in the regeneration of brownfield sites where there is the potential for release of nuisance odours and VOCs during the remediation and enabling phases.
We look forward to working with CIRIA and others involved in the project to unpicking this issue and providing robust guidance to help mitigate odour impacts for the communities in which we work.
If you need help with your brownfield project enabling and remediation works, please contact Andy O'Dea at Cognition Land and Water Limited.
