Following our recent glowing report from the EA after their compliance inspection at the Former Pirbright Institute at Compton in Berkshire, the Cognition team has just received the inspectors report from a recent Considerate Constructors Scheme inspection.
The outcome of the inspection was an “Excellent” rating with an overall report score of 43/45, and “Excellent” scores on all three elements of the inspection; Respect for the Community, Care for the Environment, and Value their Workforce.
Working on behalf of Homes England and collaborating closely with project managers, Arcadis, Cognition is carrying out a full suite of enabling works at the site including demolition of 62 buildings, contamination remediation and earthworks to prepare the site for future residential development.
Some of the comments from the CCS inspector included:
Thank you to the CCS for their positive feedback and giving us the opportunity to shine! Well done to all the site team for their hard work in carrying out the works effectively and efficiently, whilst demonstrating care and respect for the environment and local community.
