Last week saw our graduates complete the last session of their development programme. They presented a mock tender, with the goal of securing an engineering contract, to senior members of staff.
They also had their last sessions with the brilliant Cathy Millis and Simmone Haywood from The Millwood Partnership, in which they discussed their strengths and weaknesses and came to understand themselves, and their capabilities, better.
Our senior members of staff were very impressed with their performance throughout this project. A very big well done to all the graduates who participated. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved. They established strengths they can capitalise on, as well as areas for improvement. Cognition will support our graduates in making those steps towards bettering themselves. We have an active staff development programme, with over 30% of our staff being graduates or on long term training. We are also sponsoring training on NVQ levels 4, 5, 6 & 7 for both trades and management roles.
We cannot wait to see what our graduates will achieve in the future!
