New business owners, occupying Angel’s Yard, will be provided the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges, who will select a winner among them. Cognition’s chairman, Simon Thompson, will be among the judges for the event. The event is hosted by Launch-It in partnership with Taylor Woodrow, Templec, IJN Security, and us at Cognition. It has also been possible because of Enfield Council, Angel Yard and Meridian Water.

Five incredible young female founders have been selected, based on their marketing campaigns, to compete for the lucrative prize of £2500 in funding. There is a grand prize for the winner, but no contestant will leave empty handed as the runners-up will receive £500 each. Congratulations to our contestants; Tara, Aaliyah, Dionne, Tahira and Joycelyn. In anticipation of the event, they will receive free coaching sessions from The London Business School to help them with their pitches.

On the day, there will be big PR event in the evening. It will be a fantastic day with food, drinks, and music, that will end with talented small business owners getting support to help their businesses take off. We are thrilled to be a part of the day and to help support businesses from our local community, Enfield.
