Cognition Land and Water Limited was commissioned by Elivia Homes to undertake remediation and ground improvement on disused former brick field land at Furze Field, Reeds Lane, Sayers Common.
A residential development is proposed at the site comprising thirty-six residential dwellings with private gardens, associated access roads, landscaped areas, pedestrian access, and a pumping station in the north of the site. Cognition’s scope of works included…
From the outset, Cognition differentiated ourselves by redesigning the approach to remediation to deliver significant improvements in cost and programme over the original design, proactive regulator negotiations to allow reuse of materials onsite (>95%) and early contractor involvement to help move the project forward.
We had a client visit earlier this week in preparation for demobilisation at the end of the week. Elivia Homes were fully satisfied with the completed works and were extremely complimentary about Cognition’s performance throughout. Specifically, they commented on the high levels of communication throughout the works, the quality of final product and the level of professionalism demonstrated by Cognition. This was our first project with Elivia Homes and we look forward to moving onto the next project with them in July. Here’s to a long and positive working relationship!
Well done to all the Cognition team involved.
