Drone Surveys from Cognition’s Rapidly Progressing Compton Site

9 August 2024

Cognition Land and Water has made massive progress on our Compton site at the former Pirbright Institute so much so, that we are aiming to complete the works some two months ahead of schedule!

The aerial photos from our drone surveys show the huge changes we have made in the above ground site condition including the demolition of 65 buildings and removal of many more tanks and ancillary structures. However, what they don’t show is the huge amount of work that has happened below ground in the removal of foundations, obstructions, tanks, the pipe and drainage network, contamination, well decommissioning, installation of replacement drainage and attenuation systems, etc. and all the associated testing, validation and verification of the works.

Offering our clients efficiency, quality and professionalism, Cognition always strives to save our clients time and money where possible on all our projects.
