Taking place on 28th August, the session explored topics such as effective treatment of emulsified hydrocarbons from contaminated land, dissolved heavy metals, pH correction for concrete wash-out, dewatering from excavations, managing surface water runoff, water quality monitoring, silt removal from abstracted water, and ensuring compliance with EA and water company standards for discharged water.

Bringing together employees from across all levels of the company, the presentation provided a valuable learning experience for everyone involved and reinforced knowledge and experience on best practice currently carried out by Cognition.
