AGS Conference 2025: A Fruitful Day Out!

20 May 2025

On 1st May, Cognition Land and Water’s technical director, Andy O’Dea, attended the 2025 AGS Conference. The event featured expert speakers from the geotechnical and geoenvironmental sector as well as insightful short reports from the AGS Working Group Leaders.

Andy is a member of the AGS Contaminated Land Working Group and the Sustainability Working Group. The Contaminated Land Working Group keeps members up to date on issues related to contaminated land and the environment. It also offers advice and feedback to external organisations, such as committees (e.g., BSI) and government bodies, on relevant documents and policies. The Sustainability Working Group promotes and encourages sustainable practices and decision making in the field of geotechnical and geoenvironmental science.

Cognition is proud to have continued our corporate membership of the AGS in 2025. Our dedication to quality and excellence drives us to align ourselves with associations that share our values and commitments.

Thank you to the AGS for hosting another amazing conference.
