Site set-up began in mid-July, with large-scale excavation and remediation due to commence shortly. This is a complex and challenging project, and we are excited to play a key role in transforming this brownfield land into a valuable asset for the community.

As part of their commitment to high standards, St William Homes undertake regular remediation audits to ensure contractors meet strict requirements around quality, health and safety, environmental compliance, and industry best practice. The results of the first audit at King’s Road Park are in - and Cognition has been praised across the board.

The audit highlighted a number of best practices including effective dust and odour management, excellent site housekeeping, strong waste management processes, COSHH compliance and energy-efficient working practices. Cognition achieved an outstanding score of 43 out of 47, with no major issues identified.

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and professionalism of the entire site team. Congratulations to everyone involved in getting the project off to such a strong start!
